The Spring 2020 campaign is underway in a record-breaking 507 cities! Thanks to all who braved the cold and howling wind this week to stand vigil and to those who've signed up online to cover prayer hours in the coming weeks. We want to welcome all of the new people who've joined us this campaign as well as several new churches who will be coming out to pray. 22,330 Twenty-two thousand three hundred and thirty little boys and girls have been killed on Pleasant Street since we started praying outside this location in 2010. Take a minute to think about that number. It's mind-boggling. And this doesn't include the 2019 abortion numbers which won't be released for another month or so. As Christians we have to take a peaceful, public stand against this horror. If you haven't yet signed up to pray, it's time to turn your good intentions into ACTION and sign up now for at least 1 hour: 40daysforlife.com/worcester. Look for spots on the vigil calendar that only have 1 person in them and join that person. If you are a veteran vigiler, look for spots that have 0 people signed up, and encourage a friend to join you. Specific needs for the coming week: Mon, Mar 2: 8am and 1pm Tues, Mar 3: 4, 5, & 6pm Wed, Mar 4: noon Thurs, Mar 5: 4, 5, & 6pm Sat, Mar 7: help needed between 11am and 6pm Let's try not to have any gaps in the schedule. I talked with a man this week (who didn't see any of us on the way in there was a gap) while his child was being destroyed. He had come outside when the procedure started. He was crying, devastated that he had no way to stop what was happening. It was too late for us to do anything for him but sympathize and pray. With a stronger presence on the sidewalk, I think we would have had a chance to help him and the baby's mother before it was too late.
