Joseph Rovezzi (USArmy) will be in attendance. Joe was the first Korean War POW from the Worcester area to be returned to his home after his release on August 20, 1953. He had spent 29 months in captivity at Camp 3 on the Yalu River, living on a handful of rice daily. Joe was the well-known owner of the popular restaurant on Main Street, Rovezzi’s.
